Mission & Purpose
The Artibonite Cultivator’s Network is an association of farmers in upper and lower Artibonite that are seeking to commercialize their farming, improve productivity and support members with technical trainings, agricultural resources and networking/exchange opportunities.
We will raise $36,000 by December 16, 2018 in order to:
- Register the food distribution business in Haiti and the U.S.;
- Secure a proper storage facility and cargo truck and;
- Import a test shipment of sugarcane, cassava and plantains.
The Artibonite Cultivator’s Network will:
1.) Create a food distribution business that will have the means and motive to regularly purchase food products from its members.
2.) Help its members produce quality food product sustainably and efficiently.
3.) Establish long-lasting relationships with leaders of foreign and national agricultural institutions in order to facilitate international learning exchanges for its members.
